31st MOLESEY VETERAN

RACE STARTS AT
2.00 P.M. BE ON STATION AT 1.50 P.M. LATEST!
Thank you for your entry.
Enclosed (posted today) is the provisional starting order and a race and safety
card. Please check your entry and make sure that it is correct - let me know if
not.
Crews must check in and
pay any outstanding fees BETWEEN 11.00 A.M. and 12.00 noon from race control in
the clubroom of Molesey Boat Club before the race. There will be a mandatory
safety briefing for coxes at 12.00 noon in the clubroom, after which race
numbers will be issued. Latest boating time is 1.15.
Note that there is one
veteran division, starting with eights and finishing with fours and quads.
Please follow instructions given in the race card and by the launch marshals,
and look out for your locating number on the bank (1,10,20,30,40).
Handicaps will be applied
to determine class winners as appropriate, but the actual race time will be
used to determine finish order.
You will be boating from
Molesey Boat Club. With regard to river conditions, a decision will be made on
the Saturday before the race with the Environment Agency. This will be
announced on www.moleseyregatta.org (also on moleseyboatclub.org) by 2 p.m. I will attempt to phone
you on Saturday evening at the latest, in the event of cancellation. I suggest
that you also phone me on Saturday evening in case I have not been able to get
in touch. The website has a river conditions update.
Access and parking is as
usual down Graburn Way off Hurst Road (turn left before Hampton Court Bridge,
facing north, go half a mile, turn right). Please note that all trailers

After the race Molesey Boat
Club will be open for showers, bar service, teas, sandwiches and cakes, all at
reasonable prices! I look forward to seeing you on Sunday.
