World Cup Success for Molesey Rowers

E-mail Print PDF

GB Rowing LogoMolesey athletes performed superbly Sunday in the final of the first World Cup in Munich.  Andy Hodge led the four to a convincing and dominant win on their first step to Beijing Gold.  Acer Nethercott, Tom Solesbury rowed well to claim silver in the men’s eight which also was a great start to their international season. Well done also to John West in coaching the men’s eight.  Next stop is Lucerne in 2 weeks time when hopefully we will see similar results and also Tom James getting his chance in the four after an injury preventing him rowing the first world cup and Ollie Moore rowing in the pair.  Great work guys
