This is a thank you to all of you in the club who worked to make Sunday such a big success and to all of those who came and cheered our oarsmen home. Around 500 people attended and what a cheer at the end!
Thanks to the cake-makers, the banner hangers, the bar staff, the guest minders, the posie makers, the bunting drapers, the caterers, the club vacuumers, those who contributed to the costs, the bay sweepers, the forecourt washers, the PR gurus, Elmbridge Council, the Mayor, Sir Clive, the moorers, the junior oar clappers, the procession organisers, the commentators, the speech-makers, the welcomers, anyone left out from this list and finally our successful athletes especially Captain Hodge.
