Molesey BC rowers were out in force for the U23 and University Games selection regatta held this weekend at Caversham.
Leading the way was Mo Sbihi who rowed with Dan Ritchie from Reading University who convincingly won the A final from UL, CUBC, UL/Abingdon, Leander, Newcastle Uni. In the B final Scott Rennie and Pete Marsland finished 2nd behind a Leander Combination. In the C final Dan Badr-Safdari with Chris Carew from Reading Uni finished 2nd behind Oxford Brookes which contained Molesey member Karl Hudspith. Luke Carey/James Foad finished third. Henry Ellender racing with Bristol Universities Mark Roberts finished second in the D Final.
All athletes now head into 4 days of seat racing in fours and pairs as the selectors look for a crew for the Duisberg regatta in May in the lead up to the U23 World Championships.
